I've Done It Again!

Yes, more great savings on my home insurance, and all because I shopped around, using the comparison websites, and then when I'd found the best deal for my circumstances, I logged out of LV (Liverpool Victoria) and entered their site again through my cashback site - making mega savings on what was already a good deal!

So, after the cashback, I now have full cover for buildings AND contents for just less than £100.

Sorry for a boring post, but it really excites me! lol. Is there any hope left for me? Perhaps I need to get another life? Now whose should I chose?

Maybe someone famous with lots of dosh? How about Madonna?

Well maybe not. She isn't in a happy relationship or happy marriage. Nor is she happy with herself - just look at her body - she must be constantly working out or in the gym trying to turn back time.

Maybe in another 10 years she'll realise that what she was born with is OK. What's a perfect body anyway? I bet even Angelina Jolie hates something about herself - that's what most women do! Are we stupid or what? Most of us 'brush up' quite nicely with a bit of lipstick and decent clothes, so we should learn to be happy with what we see in the mirror.

And it must be awful having the media constantly following you, taking pics and then writing daft newspaper articles. What price fame?

So I think I'll stick to being little old me, who enjoys being Just Jill; working from home PT with her elottery biz, and being happy that she has saved a few quid on her home insurance - lol.

And I don't think any celebrity would ever experience the satisfaction of shopping around and getting a good deal, or being able to go out without someone following and taking photos of you not looking your best. But I suppose it goes with the territory.

Guess what, it's the weekend again, so where's that bottle of wine?

Are YOU Making This Big Mistake?

I hope not! If you follow me on my blog, you'll already know that I am a great believer in getting discounts on goods and services without sacrificing quality.

The best way to do that online, is by using the comparison websites and them combining the result with a cashback site. It works everytime, and I've saved £££s on all sorts of things, the biggest savings being on insurance. My home insurance is due very soon, so I'll be at it again next week - lol - so watch this space.

In my opinion, the best UK & USA cashback site is ei42.

I always look forward to their newsletters. Yesterday's was very interesting; all about how so many people DO make mistakes by thinking they are getting the biggest savings by using the comparison sites and nothing else.

Here's a synopsis; I make no apologies for the length because it's important that people understand the difference. It is written by Steve, MD of ei42.

Over the weekend I went to a barbecue at a friend’s house, naturally this person is a member of Ei42 and has been for over a year. He’s just bought himself a very nice expensive new car and he was happily telling me how he got the best deal ever by using “Compare the Market.com”, nothing surprises me anymore so I simply asked him “what makes you think you got the best deal” his answer was that he had gone to compare the market and that they had shown him a list of deals and the difference between the most expensive and the cheapest was £160 and so he had jumped to the rather illogical conclusion that he had “saved” £160.

This is typical of what advertisers are trying to get us all to believe every time we see or hear an advertisement. The fact is there are lies, damn lies and statistics and this kind of conclusion jumping is proof that a mix of those together with a natural desire for a bargain means that we often jump to the wrong conclusion. My friend was wrong for a number of reasons. Firstly, he was not comparing like with like. If you went to Harrods and bought a Jar of Jam do you suppose it would be more expensive than Tesco own brand? Of course it would! So if Jam from Harrods cost £4.00 and jam from Tesco was 50p, have you saved £3.50? of course you haven’t, because you would not have bought Jam for £4.00 in the first place.

Do you suppose that Comparison sites are more interested in saving you money than making a profit?

How can so many comparison websites afford to spend Millions of pounds on TV advertising unless they are making HUGE profits?

How can they be making so much money?

The answer to this question is that they FOCUS on comparing products that will make them big commissions, Insurance, Mortgages, Loans, Credit Cards, Travel, Gas & Electricity, anything else is irrelevant to them. More importantly nothing is unique to these comparison websites. They ALL have the same products and services from the same people that you will find on Ei42 and so there is no way that you can get a better deal from a comparison website than you do from Ei42 when comparing like for like. Let me repeat that...

There is no way that you can get a better deal from a comparison website than you can get from Ei42

Here is why, let’s say you go to compare the market and find a great deal for your Car Insurance like my friend did with “Swinton Insurance” he used Compare The Market to order his policy from Swinton and Compare the Market kept ALL of the commission. If he had used his Ei42 shop to buy the same insurance then he would have got a rebate of £18.00 in effect making his insurance £18.00 cheaper than buying via Compare the Market.

All of this is not rocket science but it does require you all to look at the broader picture. As my old Granny used to say “if you look after the pennies the pounds will look after themselves” and all you have to do to make those pennies add up is to always use your Ei42 shop when you buy anything online.

How to Compare the Market and buy via your Ei42 shop

Let’s say you have just looked for the best deal on car insurance on one of the comparison websites and identified that Swinton have a great deal for you. Did you know that you can still buy that product or service via Ei42 and get a commission? Here’s how...

1. Identify the Product or service. In our example it is “Swinton Insurance”
2. Close your web browser completely. (not just the Tab)
3. Restart your web browser and go to your Ei42 shop
4. Search for the retailer or supplier. In our example it’s “Swinton Insurance”
5. Buy the product or service

Simple.....

Please note that not all products and services generate a commission but you have nothing to lose by trying. If there is a commission due you will automatically receive it and NOT the comparison website that you might have used.

That’s all for this week.

I wish you continued success with Ei42

Best Regards

Steve Dawson

The Birthday Girl is Back

What a week, and what a brilliant birthday weekend!

It's hard to believe that this time last week we were registering at the Newport Bay Club reception desk.

It's a lovely hotel, with excellent service and well trained staff - highly recommended.

Our spacious bedroom had a very comfortable queen-sized bed, and French windows opening up into the garden, overlooking the lake. It was truly magical, just right for us.

Friday night found us in the main Disneyland Park. We were pleased that the queues were very short, so managed a cruise on both Pirates of the Caribbean and It's A Small World and still had plenty of time left to enjoy the evening parade, fireworks and of course some good French food and wine.

It brought back fond memories of 1994, the last time we were there with my brother's young family. We had to keep going on It's A Small World with our 6 year old nephew because he was completely enchanted by it. Anyone who has been there will know how the music just sticks in your mind!

A bit like 'I know a song that gets on your nerves!' Sorry - lol

I spent my birthday enjoying the Walt Disney Studios and all the goodies on offer - I even got a birthday kiss from Mickey - even though he was a little shy. Then another lovely meal and relaxing hotel evening to follow.

Sunday saw us back in Disneyland where we had a marathon day doing all sorts of good things - again very small queues - so it was perfect.

I walked my socks off, and didn't my body know about it! My only purchase was a packet of plasters for my poor feet and toes - only just getting better now - almost a week later.

Monday was going home time, so we spent the morning limping around the lake and enjoying a leisurely lunch on the hotel patio. It's amazing what a nice bottle of wine can do to relieve pain - lol

And here we are home again and getting back to normality - whatever that is - and guess what, it's the weekend again, so time for another little break. Also time to start looking for decent timed Malaga flights for our Sept/Oct break, that might well be the next time we see any sunshine. Whatever happened to our promised summer here?

Oh, nearly forgot! I had some lovely cash presents over at the Birthday Bonus Club, so if you havn't joined yet, go and have a look here - it's really exciting.

Well, tonight sees yet another mega EuroMillions rollover jackpot - this time it's £49million, so if you're not yet in it, why not try your luck with 36 lines for only a fiver? You never know your luck and the two star balls are already guaranteed! Now what part of the world shall I book for with my winnings - teehee!

Have a great weekend

I'm Almost There!

Today's the day - the day that we fly off to Paris for EuroDisney and my BIG birthday on Sat - yippeeee - can hardly wait!

Bags will be packed this afternoon; travel docs and euros are already at hand, so that just leaves me to be parcelled up, pointed towards the door and driven to the airport around 6pm.

I'm really looking forward to staying at the Newport Bay Hotel - a bit of luxury in the evening with good food and wine - and a lot of fun in the day in the theme parks. I've never been to the Walt Disney Studios before, so that's something else to look forward to.

Can't believe I'm going to wake up on 11th as a pensioner - lol - where did all those years go? I remember wondering at 30 what I would be like at 60 - well I'll soon know, and I don't think I'll feel any different, except maybe more content in my life, and very sure of who I am.

In fact, at 30 I wasn't even sure if I liked myself - sounds crazy - but I now know for sure that although far from perfect, I'm more than just an OK person, so I'm very happy to be ME! I like being Just Jill, and I love doing what I do.

I'm fortunate too in my choice of work; starting with the elottery was one of my better moves. It allowed me to leave the bank, has given me the opportunity to choose what I do on a daily basis, and pays me on time every 4 weeks.

I've also made many friends around the world, something I could never have done when I was working. Plus it's great fun; and you never know, because of the brilliant unique syndicate system, we could even have a big jackpot win! We've had loads of smaller wins, but because we only need to match 5 balls and not 6, the jackpot is much more winnable!

Anyone who is open to considering a PT business opportunity should look no further. I'd be happy to explain it.

Well that's it for today from this 59 yr old, I still have a few things to finish before I start packing for Paris.

Mickey doesn't have a clue what's coming his way - lol - I wonder if he will join me for breakfast on Saturday?

Have You Seen What Happens On Saturday?

Can you believe that another month has flown by? Here we are in July and it only seems like last week that we said hello to June!

I wonder what lovely things this month will bring? As it's my BIG birthday on 11th, I'm hoping it will be extra special. I'm really looking forward to Disney next week. But before that, there's a rather special event taking place on 4th!

Did you know it's the massive
Sorteo Extraordinario on Sat? The 'San Ildefonso' draw that happens once a year and I bet you've never even heard of it - lol - I only found out about it quite recently.

It's a Spanish institution, a time when whole families buy lottery tickets and crowd around the TV in hopes of winning the 'big one'. And it’s a very big one indeed – a GUARANTEED jackpot of 140 million Euros! In the past it’s been nigh on impossible for anyone outside of Spain to buy a ticket for this amazing prize, but the brilliant elottery system has pulled a few strings and you can now stake your claim on this life-changing jackpot.

So, could a lottery win change your life?

Do you dream of winning the big one every time you purchase your lottery ticket? This is a great way of boosting your winnings with a system that always puts the odds in your favour!

Buy your tickets today to change your life!

The draw takes place on July 4th, but don’t delay! This is different to other draws where you can get in right up to the last minute. With this one, there are a fixed number of tickets available and they sell out very quickly. Once they’re gone, so is your chance of being 140 million Euros richer! Elottery syndicates improve your chance of winning by giving you access to 10 tickets, each with a chance of winning up to eight times.

With 80 chances to win, you are GUARANTEED to share at least one cash prize in this draw!

Enter now, before it’s too late!

No more tickets will be created once these have sold out, and with the assurance of 140 million Euros being given away, they’re selling like hot cakes. Entering literally takes a couple of minutes, but it could change the rest of your life. So why not enter now before it's too late?

Now what am I going to do with all that cash - what a lovely problem to have!

A fine is a tax for doing wrong, whilst a tax is a fine for doing well!

The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow!

Yes, another weekend is upon us, and it looks like we might get some sunshine up here in the N.West - at last!

It's maddening when you see the UK weather forecasts, and almost everywhere is promised sunshine with figures well into the 20s, and then you see the grey rain clouds expected over the NW. It happens time and time again, but this time it's looking good. Today is cold and breezy so hopefully there'll be a little magic overnight, and we'll wake up to a lovely summer's day.

Don't think I'll be dusting the cobwebs off the BBQ yet though. Why? Because I don't like the rules!

BBQ Rules
We are about to enter the BBQ season, so here's a little reminder on the etiquette of this sublime outdoor cooking activity, as it's the only type of cooking a 'real' man will do, probably because there is an element of danger involved.

When a man volunteers to do the BBQ the following chain of events are put into motion:

(1) The woman buys the food.
(2) The woman makes the salad, prepares the vegetables, and makes dessert.
(3) The woman prepares the meat for cooking, places it on a tray along with the necessary cooking utensils and sauces, and takes it to the man who is lounging beside the grill - beer in hand.

Here comes the important part:
(4) THE MAN PLACES THE MEAT ON THE GRILL.

More routine....
(5) The woman goes inside to organize the plates and cutlery.
(6) The woman comes out to tell the man that the meat is burning. He thanks her and asks if she will bring another beer while he deals with the situation.

Important again:
(7) THE MAN TAKES THE MEAT OFF THE GRILL AND HANDS IT TO THE WOMAN.

More routine....
(8) The woman prepares the plates, salad, bread, utensils, napkins, sauces, and brings them to the table.
(9) After eating, the woman clears the table and does the dishes.

And most important of all:
(10) Everyone PRAISES the MAN and THANKS HIM for his cooking efforts.
(11) The man asks the woman how she enjoyed "her night off." And, upon seeing her annoyed reaction, concludes that there's just no pleasing some women....

Sooo, although I enjoy eating outdoors, I'll just cook in my kitchen and take it outside! Have a wonderful weekend.

A Brilliant End To The Week

What a good week, and what a nice ending too.

Guess what, my car insurance is due next week so I shopped around for a better deal and ended up getting £80 cashback plus free legal protection and roadside assistance!

Now that's what I call a good deal.

It's all because I used the comparison websites to find my requirements at their best prices - and then, when I'd narrowed it down to a handful, I went into my cash back site, found the same companies in there, compared prices again and then bought the best deal! Easy peasey

My house insurance is due in July, so I'll be doing exactly the same again then.

Well after all that hard work, I think I deserve a little rest and maybe a treat! Wonder what I'll have - clink clink - teehee

So have a great weekend - I wonder what goodies next week will bring? Maybe I'll share a big win in tonight's £50million EuroMillions rollover -that would be lovely.

Cheers

A Great Way To Save Money

I just love a bargain - so does my mum - so maybe there's an unknown hereditary 'bag a bargain' gene still waiting to be discovered; or maybe it's because we're all wise old birds who know a good thing when they see it - OMG there's that 'old' word cropping up again - lol

I discovered cashback sites a long time ago; and they are brilliant. I wouldn't dream of buying anything online unless it was well-priced plus offers cash back too ; but none can beat this one!

Why? Because not only is it using well known retailers and top brands in both UK & USA, and of course gives cashback on your purchases, it also has a fantastic tell-a-friend feature where they can get cashback too, and YOU get a thank you for recommending it, in the form of extra dosh - how good is that?

I've had excellent personal cashback payments on all my insurances, stationery, printer ink, electrical goods, garden accessories, DVDs, CDs, books. You name it, and you can buy it with a good discount plus cash back!

Another thing I really like about it, is that it is completely free to use and always will be.

It's also a great way for fundraising groups and charities to bring in some extra funding, so if you know anyone, no matter how small the group, they really need to know about this.

If you havn't registered for your free site yet, then you can do it with me here

Must go now, it's time to go find a new 'love seat' for my lovely garden.

Happy shopping

Look Out Mickey - I'm On My Way!

Guess what I've done?

I've booked another little holiday - and this time it's all about ME! I'm usually so busy doing these things for others, that it's really great to have sorted something out for little old me!

Oh dear, did I really say old? Is that what's going to happen on July 11th? Will hitting 60 suddenly make me decrepit? I still can't believe that it is really me in the mirror, or that the mature lady in the shop window isn't my mother - or even my father - where will it end.

And my best buy last month was a 'hair crayon', supposedly to help disguise my grey roots! Last time I crayoned, I was about 7, and that doesn't seem so long ago.

There's been loads of mail this month from pension companies, pension departments and the tax office, all enclosing forms to be read, signed and returned - with the help of reading glasses of course - and even life insurance companies touting for my business. No sign of a funeral plan yet! They can go and take a running jump.

But back to Mickey and July. I've booked a few days at DisneyParis, and I'm getting excited! We last went 15 years ago when it first opened. It was April and it rained most of the time but we still enjoyed it; and of course now there will be loads of new things to see, plus the sun could be shining too.

I've booked the Disney Newport Bay hotel. It's a nautical theme; and as Iain is an ex sailor, he will just love it too. Hope we don't have to keep saluting, and hope we're not in hammocks! I wouldn't mind splicing the mainbrace with a daily tot of rum though.

I'd always wondered why Disney chose N.France for their European site, and not Spain. Afterall, the weather is important and Spain is a much better bet for sunshine. I got chatting to a nice guy on skype last week. He is a theme park consultant, and he told me that is was all about the money - so nothing changes does it!. Apparently, alledgedly France gave Disney the land for free. Don't know if he is right, but it kind of rings a bit true...

We're both really looking forward to it, and it's only 6 weeks away! Only 6 more weeks of not being a pensioner - lol - better start practising soon! When I start saying 'In MY day....' or 'Do I know you...? ' or even worse; 'Who am I?', you'll know there's no hope left for me.

But until then, move over Minnie, Jilly's back in town, and girls just want to have fun.

Thought for the day:

Don't put off until tomorrow, the things you could have sorted out today - you'll feel good and be very glad that you did them

Have You Seen What We've Done Now!

I can't stop grinning from ear to ear - and my jaw has started to ache too - lol

And it's all because of what has happened with my wonderful biz this week.

It was always a snip at £9.99 p.a. Yes, it really did only cost such a small amount to set up and get started - crazy I know, especially when you think what you got for your investment.

But now (and I think someone's been on the happy pills) VWD have made it completely free - with no hidden fees or upgrade costs!

I am still finding it hard to believe that this incredible business, plus all the extra professional marketing tools and other support systems, can now be started at ZERO cost!

It's amazing, plus they will soon be giving away free Golden Tickets that will be entered into monthly draws for valuable prizes - with a car at Christmas.

Also. there's a new web 2.0 viral networking page that will build the business for anyone who has the sense to make use of it.

It just keeps getting better and better, where will it all end?

Probably with me suing the company for permanent damage to my jaw bone - must google 'compensation for making me too happy' and see what pops up! Teehee.

Have a great weekend

Probably The Deadliest Virus Of All Time

Sorry guys, but we can all do with a good laugh sometimes - enjoy - it made me laugh out loud - hope it does the same for you!

Can You Believe It?

Yes, it's the weekend again, and wow, what a fun two days.

Not only do we have a HUGE EuroMillions rollover jackpot tonight, it's followed by the UK draw on Saturday plus the MEGA monthly Spanish draw too.

What a load of dosh!

And we're out and about still celebrating Iain's birthday!

Can you believe that the
EuroMillions is a massive 124million euros - £110million - and that the Spanish Superdraw is an amazing 84Million euros - £75Million - wow!

It makes the UK £5million sound like peanuts - lol

I love the way our clever syndicated system puts the odds in our favour.

Did you know that it automatically guarantees that the 2 star balls are covered in the EuroMillions, leaving us with only 5 balls to match instead of the usual 7?
Here's a demo.

And the Spanish draw actually guarantees at least 3 cash wins for every player; and that's in addition to having a major share in 10 decimos.

Why people buy their tickets in other ways beats me, but it's probably because they don't know about elottery, and the way it gives everyone far better chances of winning plus multi-wins when they do win.

Even if people were in a private offline syndicate, they still couldn't win as much, or have more chances than if they were in elottery - even after the shareout!

Here's where you can get free results by email

Yes, Iain's birthday continues; we're off to Chester on Sunday for a birthday lunch with good friends who couldn't make it down to Marbella. Can't think of a nicer way to spend a day. Really looking forward to my July birthday, think I'll make it stretch right up to Christmas, and then start again - teehee.

Would that mean I'd get multi birthday bonuses too?

Whatever you are doing, make it a good one.

Thought for the day:

If you can't be content with what you have received, be grateful for what you have escaped.

Guess Who is Back?

No, it's not Arnie the terminator, it's just Jill the twitterer.

Yes, I'm back from a wonderful holiday; and Iain really enjoyed all his birthday surprises - I did too - and I knew what was going to happen - lol.

Marbella was great even though not as sunny as usual, but who cares when you're away and relaxing. And of course there's always the sunshine in a bottle of vino! TeeHee.

The musical Oliver was magical, and we really enjoyed the behind the scenes theatre tour beforehand. I was a little disappointed before we went, because I heard that Rowan Atkinson was out of the show for three weeks after a hernia op, and was being replaced by Russ Abbott. I like Russ, but was really looking forward to seeing Rowan play Fagin.

But I shouldn't have worried, he was brilliant; really funny in some scenes, and suitably serious in others.

So that's Iain's birthday over with; mine next in July at DisneyParis - and no kids in tow - watch out Mickey, I'm on my way.

So what did I find upon my return? Loads of good things - another huge EuroMi!lions rollover - and an exciting change to the elottery programme!

Did you know that Friday night's mega jackpot is now a massive 99Million euros - £89Million - that's a serious amount of dosh!

I would love to invite you to join me in our professionally organised syndicate. You'll get 36 shared entries for just £5.00!

Plus, the unique way we play guarantees that the syndicate you're in will match both 'Lucky Stars', so we only need to match 5 numbers and not 7

And NO, that's not a typo - you really do get 36 entries for just a fiver! Play alone and 36 entries would cost you £54.00!

That's just one of the reasons we call this 'the smarter way to play'! And smart way to work too!

So if you fancy a go with no obligation to play every week, click here.

There's also a short movie that explains how it works.

And here's the breaking news about the biz side:
I can hardly contain my excitement, I've a permanent grin on my face, but believe it or not, from May 11th we are bringing out a new website and dropping the affiliate fee. Plus there will be free prize draws every month for every player plus matching prizes for the sponsors, and a car at Xmas. This biz was always a bargain at £9.99, but now that it will be free, it will soar to even greater heights.

Don't you just love it when everything comes nicely together!

Have a great weekend.

Cheers

Jill

Flying Down To Malaga

Hurray, holiday time is here again, and we're off to not so sunny Spain, but hey, who cares about a little rain when there's a whole 2 weeks of doing nothing to look forward to.

We love Marbella and the slow pace of life. I will even manage not to go online - well maybe on the very last day just to see what lies ahead - lol

And of course we've Iain's BIG birthday celebrations to look forward to and a long weekend in London before we go home.

That's if we come home of course. You never know, we might win the lottery whilst we're away! I wonder what we would do if we did win? Probably still go home to sort a few things out, and then fly back again to chill out and decide upon our next steps.

We're also looking forward to showing our Spanish friends that we now offer a smarter way to play the El Gordo and other Spanish draws too.

The next MEGA draw is early May, so if you want a share in 10 decimos, have a look here.

Well it's almost time to go and pack my case, so adios amigos y hasta la vista!

Watch out for Wednesday!

I've just heard something really exciting.

I've been a member of a brilliant 'cashback shopping club' for the last year. It's a system where anyone can have free membership, and then whenever they buy something online, they do it through their own free personalised cashback site, and then get great savings and money-back on their purchases - even when buying things on eBay!

It's only been available here in UK, but the brilliant news is that it expands into USA this Wednesday, 8th - hurray!

In a similar way to here, it will be linked to American retailers, so now everyone in the States can enjoy cash back and great savings too.

And the even better news is, that there is a fantastic business opportunity attached to it - completely free of any costs - so click here if you want to make big savings, and/or earn extra income too - join up today and start telling your friends soon.

Have a great week ahead.

Cheers

Jill

Hurray - It's the Weekend Again

Is it just me these days, or are the weeks going by faster?

I can't believe it's Saturday morning once again- I've only just recovered from the last one - lol!

When I worked 9 - 5 the days didn't go by as quickly as this; yet when you're busy you'd think the time would go quicker. I worked in retail banking, and you'd no sooner have walked through the door, and POW - you'd be full-on all day - hardly drawing breath for a drink! Yet sometimes the days would seem long.

So why, now that I'm semi-retired and enjoying a much slower pace with time freedom, do the days go by so quickly?

It's now 10.00am with a relaxing day ahead (going to the supermarket too) , and a pleasant evening dining out with friends, but I bet before I know it, it will be midnight.

And guess what, we put the clocks forward tonight too - so that'll be another hour lost - aaagh!

It will soon be time to get up again at this rate! Oh well, we're out for Sunday lunch tomorrow, so that'll be nice. Where am I going to put all this food?? There's no more room on my body.

At this rate, it will soon be our birthdays! My husband Iain is 60 on April 16th and I've organised a few little surprises at our apartment in Marbella. He doesn't even know that we are popping over there yet - teehee - so if you see him, please keep it quiet - it'll be fun getting him to the airport! We fly back to London for a theatre weekend; I've booked tickets for his favourite musical and a behind the scenes tour - so that will be very interesting.

Guess who is 60 in July? That's something else I can't believe. And the person in the mirror looks more like my mother - or even my father - lol - so what happened there then? Another lot of time just flying past?

I'm really looking forward to mine though, 'cos we've booked a long weekend in DisneyParis. We went 15 years ago on their opening week in April, so it will be exciting seeing all the changes. They didn't have the Studios then, plus it rained all the time!

Also, we both belong to the Birthday Bonus Club, and we are looking forward to all the cash presents that will be coming our way. If you havn't joined yet, then you really should consider it - lots of fun and rewarding too.

Can you believe that another 30 mins has crept by now? Unbelievable! So time to get going.
Have a great weekend.

If You're Feeling Crazy, then You'll Just Love This!

I just love competitions, they've always been a fascinating hobby. And finding the perfect tie-breaker is often a challenge all by itself.

I've won loads of prizes over the years, but never the BIG one like a house or an 'Around the World Cruise'. Plenty of 2nd prizes though, which I've been very happy with. And it's been nice giving some away to other people too.

So when I came across this fantastic competition site, I knew I just had to share it. So why not go and have a look around; enter a few, and let me know if you win! Click here

Portia is walking in memory of Wayne

I'd like to introduce you to my USA based friend Portia - click here

I've known her online for over a year, but never knew, until last month, that she suffered from MS.

That's because she is a very positive thinking person, who never complains about what life has thrown at her, so many of her online friends never knew. Whilst I respect her for that, I am also glad that I know now.

She is in my thoughts today, because her close friend Wayne, also afflicted with MS, but with the more aggressive type, has died suddenly.

Portia and Wayne were getting ready to do a sponsored walk to raise funds on behalf of MS and had a goal of $1500. Portia will now be walking in memory of Wayne.

If you feel that you can help her to reach this target, click here and visit Portia's page at the National MS Society. Even the smallest of amounts will be welcomed. What will you be wasting a dollar or pound on this week?

Hot Tip for Twitterers

Have you seen this brilliant new tool for promoting your blog on Twitter?

I came across it earlier today, and it's something every blogger should know about.

I'll let the web page do the explaining - so click here

I'm Getting Excited

Iain and I joined the Birthday Bonus Club in January - yes there are two BBCs now - thinking 'What a nice idea, gifting people on their special day, and receiving something back on yours'

I also let a few others know about it too - afterall, it's always nice to share good things. Oh and that includes chocolate too by the way. And wine.

But I never thought that the word would get around the world so quickly; and here we are in March with a constantly growing network of other birthday boys and girls.

We couldn't stop this growing now if we tried - not that we would want to - lol

And the spillover from others is great too.

So why am I getting excited?

Because, our birthdays are in April and July, and the way things are growing, I can see some rather nice cash birthday gifts coming our way. And not just this year either - it could happen every year!

So, if you fancy joining in, do it soon - there's no time like the present - and get excited about your next birthday too - even if it's another 12 months away.

Afterall, is there anyone who doesn't have a birthday?? lol

Thought for the day:

Is there something you've avoided because of the effort involved? By avoiding effort, you're passing up some of the best things that life has to offer - effort definitely pays.

Bad News - We Sold Out of Tickets!

Can you believe it - we actually sold out of tickets for the March Spanish SuperDraw!

The Spanish lotteries are not like the UK or EuroMillions draws, they're a bit like buying raffle tickets - so when they've gone - that's it - no more available!

But the good news is:

We've bought a whole load more for the April draw! So, if you fancy your chances next month, get your ticket now, and be one of the lucky people with at least 3 cash wins guaranteed!

Click here to see how that works

As we say in elottery 'Play SMART and not just lucky'!

I've Learnt Something New Again!

Have you imported your blog into Facebook yet?

I'm probably the only person in the whole wide world who doesn't like Facebook! lol

I find it really confusing; so full of different features; and I really hate it when I go to do something, only to have a pop-up appear asking me to register with something or other - aaagh. I must be getting old! BUT, I do appreciate that others like it, so I'll plod on!

And guess what, I've found out how to import my blog - so, if you'd like to have a go at that too, then click here.

Look What We've Done!

Do you remember the Beatles song 'Getting Better'?

What a simple yet brilliant song - and probably written just for little me - lol

Why? Because everything IS getting better all the time. It's always been good, but getting better and better too. Not only do I have a great online games business, I now have another profitable string to my bow with the addition of the Mega Spanish Draws.

Yes, it is now possible to play the monthly El Gordo draws in an elottery syndicate.

These are the biggest draws worldwide, and now we can, not only help people play a smarter way, we can also show people how to make money with the business side too! How fantastic is that? Have a look for yourself:

Guess who is going to have a certain song playing in her mind all day?!

What Would YOU Do With £25million!

So, what would you do with it??

The first thing I'd be doing is picking myself up from the floor - lol - but after that it would be smiles all the way.

£25million is a lot of dosh by anyone's standards, and could be a daunting figure for some. It would definitely be a life changing one.

But guess what - I quite like my life - so here's what I'd do.

I'm no longer young, so I'm pretty sure that I'd give most of it away to charity; probably hospices, especially children's and of course I'd see that the family was financially sound, and friends too if they would let me.

Having more money than others can be a strange thing, and sometimes other people's pride can get in the way of other's well meant generosity. So, if that happened I'd probably take people on a long holiday - if they could take the time off work!!

And of course, I wouldn't forget Iain & me! We love travelling and would take long holidays around the globe - all first class of course. I love being pampered. Spend more time on the things we love to do, and learn a few more skills too. I'd probably move a little more into the countryside. And guess what, I might even take a a little job! WHATTT? I hear you say. Well, I think it's important to be involved with and interact with others, so I would probably give a little of myself to unpaid charity work, especially with children. It would be very satisfying having no money troubles, and knowing that I have made a positive difference to someone else's day.

Well, it's time to stop dreaming 'cos I havn't won yet!

But who knows - tonight could be the night - it's the EuroMillions £25million rollover jackpot - and you have to be in it to win it!

I am, are you??

Have a wonderful weekend.

Have A Little Chuckle.

It's good to exercise those chuckle muscles.

This made me smile.

Whilst waiting to cross a busy road - and NO, I'm not a chicken (not in this joke anyway) -I noticed that I was standing next to a one-armed man, who was holding an electric light bulb.

Being nosey, I asked him what he was going to do with the bulb. He told me he was going to change it.

Concerned, I said ' You can't possibly change a light bulb with only one arm!'

'Yes I can' he replied, 'I've got a receipt'

Boom boom

It's Friday 13th - Lucky For Some!

Wow, it's that weekend again - and it just keeps happening.

And it's a Friday 13th too! I've never thought of it as being unlucky, but then I'm not superstitious.

As the saying goes - it's lucky for some. I got married on 13th, and we're still together after many years; I've always felt quite 'lucky'. I walk under ladders - it's quicker than walking around them and much safer than stepping into the road to avoid one!! I often win raffle prizes, but then again I do bother to buy a ticket! How many people moan that they never win, and then you find out that they never enter in the first place - crazy - but that's life!

And tomorrow is Valentine's Day - aaaah - so I hope that everyone gets the appreciation that they deserve from their loved ones.

Whatever you do, have a lovely weekend and don't forget that to actually BE lucky you have to ACT lucky, so if you're still not in the exciting lotto draws, click here to join my syndicate.

Now where's that bottle of wine?

Cheers everybody

An Invitation To Join Me At My Monday Meetings

Hi,

It's Monday again, and the start of another week. I've just had a lovely weekend doing absolutely nothing - well someone has to do it - so why not me - lol

But it's back to work now - if you can call it that - and it's almost time for our Monday night online get together.

Virtual World Direct is my main biz, and if you'd like to come along and check us out, you are very welcome. Just click here to follow the link. But don't use Firefox, that sometimes causes problems. You won't need a password.

The first 10 mins goes through the opportunity, and the rest of the short time is spent on showing people how to be successful with it.

We've devised a new promo system too; aimed at people who are NOT internet marketers.

Did you know that 97% fail to build an online biz? Mainly because they do not have large databases of contacts like the time served professionals.

People without these skills would do well to remember that the internet is purely another useful tool, and not the only way forward.

Used wisely in conjunction with other tools, it is very powerful. Used unwisely, it can become the biggest thief of your valuable time.

We go through the new system www.The1System.com every Monday, and those who apply it to their business will undoubtedly see a huge growth in their profits.

The key to this success is that it is so very easy to duplicate - something many people aspire to, but never attain. And why? Because they themselves do not know how to show people the best route to take.

It can be like the blind leading the blind!

The1System has cut through all that nonsense, so if you would like to see why I constantly say that £9.99 on VWD was the best money that I ever spent, come and join in one Monday night soon.

It's always 7.30pm GMT - but log-in at 7.20pm to make sure you get in before the room fills up.

Hope to see you there soon - please say hello!

It's the Weekend Again!

Can you believe it's almost the weekend again? What happened there then?

I have to say that it's been a very good week despite all the doom and gloom about the economic downturn and the UK almost coming to a standstill because of the snow!

But why we can't cope with it here amazes me. And it now seems as if we're running out of salt for the roads too! So what's it all about? Why on earth do we Brits put up with all the bad service we get from our so called leaders! Other countries cope with and plan for bad weather conditions, so why don't we?

The Scandinavian and other N.Eastern countries manage, as do Iceland, Canada, Alaska and many others worldwide. They get one harsh winter after another, not just the odd few days like us. We get 2 or 3 days and the whole country almost comes to a halt! I don't know why we can't take a leaf out of their books - and be better prepared. I suppose it's all down to money somewhere along the line, but it's really maddening, especially when people's lives are at stake.

Well that's my bee out of my bonnet - lol - thank goodness for working from home and not having to struggle through to a J O B!

Several good things have happened this week; new members in the brilliant elottery, and members of the birthday club (BBC) getting some nice cash presents - roll on July when it's my turn.

The BBC (No, not the telly lot), has snowballed and is rocketing around the internet, so if you havn't joined yet, don't delay - it would be a shame to miss out.

Well that's enough of today's mutterings, so let's look forward to another good weekend.

Cheers

If you're not grateful for the good things that you already have, then you won't be happy with what you are also wishing for!

Look What I've Found!

What a great weekend - doing absolutely nothing for a change - I'm completely worn out - lol

And now it's snowing, so I'm not going out today!

This morning,
I have come across a very interesting marketing tool that may be of interest to you too. It's a service that not only helps you to build your list, it also helps you acquire customers by reaching your specific market place with
pin-point accuracy.

Here's a quote from just one of their services:

"A guaranteed and safe way to get your website offers read by interested prospects. Our internal mail system guarantees up to 95% delivery of emails and messages - and beats all SPAM-filters and ISP blocks. We even guarantee up to 50% targeted audience participation."

Those of you who know me, also know that I do not recommend anything unless I have tested it myself. So, I am today taking a trial and setting up a couple of targeted campaigns. I'll report back with the results next week.

Meanwhile if you'd like to take the trial for yourself, have a look here

It's not only the start of another busy week, it's also a new month, so make sure you enjoy it - it will soon be the weekend again - oh dear that may mean more wine - oh well someone has to do it! Sigh!!

What Are You Doing This Weekend?

It seems like I've only just got home from a long weekend, and another one is starting - yippee - what happened in the middle? Maybe I did a bit of work somewhere along the line!

I'm not going to be doing much this weekend, except for chilling out with friends over the occasional glass of wine or three - teehee - so whatever you are doing, make it enjoyable - life doesn't wait until tomorrow.

Have a great weekend - and don't forget that it's yet another huge lottery jackpot rollover too!

Is This The Future Of TV?

I've just returned from a wonderful few days away seeing friends and family, and I'm only just getting back into biz mode and catching up with my emails!

And guess what, my friend Paul sent me a brilliant link to a site that allows you to watch 1000s of worldwide TV channels in tons of categories -
from anywhere in the world - directly on your PC - and NO monthly charges!

It's hard to believe, but just have a look for yourself.

You see, while traditional satellite TV and Cable services can cost easily in excess of $90/month, this new satellite technology literally turns your home PC into an international television broadcasting unit, allowing you to view all of your favourite & once unattainable programs with one easy click of your mouse. Watching TV on your PC has never been easier!

The product has been in development for over 7 years, and has been revamped by experts from Microsoft and IBM. With hundreds of thousands of dollars of research and development put into the software, Desktop Satellite TV is indeed the fastest, easiest and most cost effective way to view international television in today's high paced environment.

I can see this being a huge seller, so you'll be pleased to hear that you can
also make money with it too via a clickbank account! Just ask me
if you'd like to know more.

Meanwhile, if you like TV, films, dvds then give it a 60 day trial -
with nothing to lose.

Thought for the Day:

Be grateful for the doors of opportunity - and the friends
who oil the hinges!

A Bit Of Birthday Fun For All

We all deserve some fun, especially at the weekend, so have a look at this. I came across the club last week, and I just love it. It's really exciting thinking about the presents I could get in July!

It's still a 'work in progress' with other goodies to be added soon, but in the meantime why not join in and see what's going on?

Have a great weekend - and don't forget that it's yet another huge lottery jackpot rollover too!

How To Save Money Online And Beat The Credit Crunch

Don't you just get fed up with hearing the phrase 'credit crunch'? I do, and it drives me potty. The only good thing about it, is that we now see lots of money saving articles in our newspapers and online.

Everyone likes to save money without sacrificing quality - and I'm no exception. So much so, that I looked around for car insurance last week, and I'm over the moon with the savings - but more importantly I also used a cash back site, so even though I got a good initial deal, I also got great cash back too!

I use ei42 , but not only for my own cash back. They give me extra cash back payments from other users too! How good is that?

Plus, you also get cash back on your eBay purchases!

At the moment they are partnered with well known UK retailers only, BUT, they will be expanding into USA very soon, and then tie up with well known outlets over there.

So, if you are in UK or USA, my advice would be to register now, and then you'll get the heads up on the US launch date soon. There is no charge and there never will be.

We all want to save money, so it's good to pass on the info and hopefully help others too.

What Would YOU Do - The Right Answer

The Right Answer
A little something to test your thought processes as the week begins.

Consider this.
You are driving along in your car on a wild, stormy
night. You pass by a bus stop, and you see three people
waiting for the bus:
1. An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.
2. An old friend who once saved your life.
3. The perfect man (or) woman you have been dreaming
about.
Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing
that there could only be one passenger in your car?
Think before you continue reading.
This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually
used as part of a job application.
You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to
die, and thus you should save her first; or you could
take the old friend because he once saved your life,
and this would be the perfect chance to pay him back.

However, you may never be able to find your perfect
dream lover again.
The candidate who was hired (out of 200 applicants) had
no trouble coming up with his answer. I love this.
WHAT DID HE SAY?
He simply answered: "I would give the car keys to my
old friend, and let him take the lady to the hospital.
I would stay behind and wait for the bus with the woman
of my dreams."
So today's thought is
Never forget to "Think Outside of the Box"
Have a great week and keep smiling

Learn Something New Today

I'm often asked about how to use graphics and banners to the best
effect.

Well, I'm no expert myself but I believe in self-education and
over the years I have taken the time to update my own skills by
learning from others.

The following is a simple banner that I created from a free
website. It doesn't say much, but I have always been a believer
in 'less says more'. It takes visitors to my affiliate site.
Sometimes we can find that the affiliate banners on offer in our
individual programmes are not quite what we want.

The simple two-tone blue button on the right of the site is also
something that I have created myself.

These have been done through a creative tools site called Instant
Banner Creator. They have their own eye catching banner below. If
this is something that can help you with your site, see what they
can do for you too. There is no charge for these basic services.

Well that's enough from me for the moment. If this only helps one
person then it will be worthwhile.

Have a great weekend.

Cheers

Jill

I'm A Twit - Are You?

I've always been a bit loopy, but I now have the honour of being a registered Twit too - lol

I'm good at twittering, so my new well earned title suits me. I wonder if there'll be a prize for Twit of the Day, week, month or even a grand title of Twit Of The Year? If so, by the time I've finished, I should have a good chance of being up there with the winners.

Joking aside, if you hav'n't come across twitter yet, do have a look - click here - it's a social networking site with a brilliant twist. If you are already there, why not 'follow me' - it would be good to keep in touch with other people's twitterings.

As you can see, I'm quite new to blogging, so I'm getting used to all the excellent features. I'm pretty chuffed that I've just discovered how to place a banner in the post too - you need a big piece of brown paper, some string, tape, not forgetting a stamp or two, plus a nice walk to the post office - sorry, told you I was a Twit!

The banner is a link to the Birthday Bonus Club, an interesting new idea where you join for free and then sit in line for some great cash presents on YOUR birthday. I initially saw it as a bit of birthday fun, but there is a lot more to it, so I can understand the excitement that it is generating, especially as it costs nothing to join. You'll soon see for yourself.

Well that's enough from me today, it's time to go and have another little twitter.

Have a great weekend.

I'll leave you with a thought for the day:

Attitude - How far it can go

Have you ever heard of the Daily Motivator? It's well worth a visit. Even if you don't need motivating, you'll enjoy reading the message of the day. Here is one of my favourites that I would like to share:

Attitude - How far it can go

Your attitude is extremely contagious. With each casual contact, with each phone conversation, each e-mail message, it spreads. The people infected by your attitude then pass it along to others, who pass it on to others still. And as your attitude quickly spreads each day throughout your world, it makes a difference everywhere it goes.

One smile given in the morning can multiply by afternoon into enough encouragement for thousands of lives.

There is really no telling how far it can go.

When you consistently act with sincere kindness, consideration, respect and positive enthusiasm, the benefits go far beyond just you alone. Your attitude in fact helps determine what kind of world you live in each day. It happens not through some hidden or mysterious force. It is something you can see, understand and influence each time you come into contact with others.

What kind of world would you most like to live in today?

Live with the attitude that will indeed make it so.

A Day In My Life

I can't believe I overslept! I havn't done that for years - it certainly changes all your plans. It's a good job I don't have a boss.

By the time I'd had breakfast - or was it brunch - the day was half way through. Maybe a pessimist would say half over, but it's really just begun.

Lots to do today, meeting friends for lunch. Guess who wasn't hungry, I wonder why? But the wine went down a treat, and the company was great. We had a good laugh, especially at my expense, 'cos I left my glasses at home and couldn't read a thing on the menu. Oh well, what are friends for if not to help you through?

After being fed and watered I visited mum in her residential care home. She's 87 now and very frail but still has her sense of humour and a smile on her face. It's a pleasure to go there. We are really lucky that she is having exceptional care (although it does cost an arm and a leg). It's more like a nice hotel than a care home. Mum is one of the youngest residents. You hear such horror stories about these places, but this one is very comfortable, clean with exceptional carers. And no horrible smells assailing your nostrils when you walk in. In fact, sometimes I feel like moving in too - it would be great to be so well looked after - lol - the food is great too - but no wine, so I'd better think again.

Home again in time to cook dinner, and then catch up with my emails and online biz. Well we all deserve some time off sometimes, and here I am typing away, although it certainly doesn't seem like hard work. I used to be at the front end of so called 'Customer Service' in retail banking - now THAT was hard work.

Off to catch something on the telly now, maybe I'll win the lottery tonight! - I belong to a syndicate at www.mylottery.co.uk - and then to bed. I'll make sure the alarm clock is on for tomorrow too!

I wonder what good things the day will bring?
